It is equipped with an activatable impact mechanism that allows drilling in wood and steel, but also in masonry. With a chuck opening of 1 to 10 mm, it is compatible with the most commonly used drills. It also has a convenient belt hook and bit holder that can be attached on the right or left side for easy use. Its integrated work light provides optimal illumination in low-light rooms. Also, the SB 18 comes with two 2.0 Ah Li-Ion batteries, the Metabo SC 30 charger and a metaBOX case for safe and clean storage of the machine. Metabo is a member of the CAS group and therefore has a wide range of equipment and batteries that are compatible with other manufacturers.
