Der Makita DGA511 ist ein leistungsfähiger Akku-Winkelschleifer, der sich durch seinen bürstenlosen Motor und die einstellbare Drehzahl für anspruchsvolle, professionelle Trenn- und Schleifarbeiten auszeichnet. Dieses sehr handliche Gerät wird von einem 18 V-Antrieb gespeist und kann Scheiben mit einem Durchmesser von bis zu 125 mm aufnehmen. Er ist mit den fortschrittlichen Technologien AFT (Active Feedback Sensing Technology) und ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology) ausgestattet. Die AFT stoppt den Motor, wenn das Werkzeug blockiert, während die ADT die Drehzahl während des Betriebs automatisch anpasst, um stets optimale Leistung zu liefern, abhängig von den jeweiligen Anforderungen der Arbeit. Zusätzlich bietet die XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) einen optimalen Schutz gegen Staub und Spritzwasser, selbst unter harten Einsatzbedingungen. Der Winkelschleifer verfügt über einen Sanftanlauf und eine elektronisch regelbare Drehzahl. Eine LED-Warnanzeige informiert über nachlassende Akkuspannung und drohende Überlastung. Außerdem ist das Gerät mit einem Tiefentladeschutz ausgestattet, der den Schleifer automatisch abschaltet, sobald der Akku fast leer ist.
