This GAL 18V-40 charger is very compact and compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V batteries thanks to its modern design. The charging speed has been optimised for the compact 18V batteries. The built-in intelligent charging process automatically recognises the battery charge level and charges it with the optimum charging current depending on temperature and battery voltage. This protects the battery and always keeps it fully charged when stored in the charger. The charger can be used standing or wall-mounted.

      This charger is top-notch, feels super robust and long-lasting. It's compatible with 14.4-18V batteries and delivers 4ampere of power. Charging times are reasonable and the speed is impressive. The only downside is that it doesn't always charge batteries to 100% and the ventilation could be better, but overall, it gets the job done.       Die Handhabung des Ladegeräts ist einfach und unkompliziert, und es passt problemlos in meine Werkstatt. Ein Stern Abzug, da ich manchmal festgestellt habe, dass das Ladegerät die Akkus nicht immer zu 100% voll lädt.

      Das Ladegerät erfüllt grundsätzlich seinen Zweck und lädt die Akkus zuverlässig auf. Die Ladezeit ist angemessen und die LED-Anzeige zeigt den Ladestatus klar an.

      Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich etwas enttäuscht von der Verarbeitung bin. Das Ladegerät wirkt insgesamt etwas billig und nicht besonders robust. Auch die Lüftung könnte besser sein, da das Gerät bei längerem Gebrauch ziemlich warm wird.

      Ein großer Vorteil dieses Ladegeräts ist die Möglichkeit, Akkus mit einer Spannung von 14,4 bis 18 V zu laden. Dies macht es vielseitig einsetzbar für verschiedene Bosch Akkuwerkzeuge. Außerdem gefällt mir die kompakte Größe und das robuste Gehäuse, was es einfach macht, das Ladegerät überallhin mitzunehmen.
