Der Spannungsprüfer eignet sich zum Erkennen und Lokalisieren von spannungsführenden Leitern, Kabelunterbrechungen und -brüchen, durchgebrannten Sicherungen, defekten Lampen an Lichterketten sowie Einzellitzen-Erkennung. Um elektrische Wechselfelder testen oder mutmaßliche Fehlerquellen orten zu können, wird ein Spannungsprüfer benötigt. Eine erste Indikation, ob Spannungsfreiheit vorliegt, ist mit dem berührungslosen Spannungsprüfer dank optischem und akustischem Signal möglich. Für die Benutzung werden zwei AAA Batterien benötigt, welche im Lieferumfang enthalten sind. Wird das Gerät 4 Minuten lang nicht verwendet, schaltet es sich automatisch aus um Energie zu sparen. Eine integrierte LED Taschenlampe ermöglicht die Beleuchtung in dunkler Umgebung und kann durch manuelles Ein- und Ausschalten als Taschenlampe verwendet werden. Der Spannungsprüfer mit Ansteckclip passt dank seiner handlichen Größe bequem in jede Hemd- und Hosentasche. Dank der international angepassten Messspitze ist der Spannungsprüfer für alle Steckdosenvarianten weltweit geeignet und gewährleistet, dass das Arbeitsumfeld spannungsfrei ist.
