Der Stihl TS 420 3,2-kW-Trennschleifer für den universellen Einsatz ist für Trennschleifscheiben mit Durchmesser von 350mm geeignet. Der Motortrennschleifer ist mit einem 2-Mix-Motor und Langzeit-Luftfiltersystem ausgestattet, welche eine maximale Lebensdauer des Gerätes garantieren. Außerdem ist ein Dekompressionsventil verbaut, dieses verringert die erforderliche Zugkraft beim anlassen reduziert. Der Trennschleifscheibenschutz ist aus Magnesium-Druckguss, die dadurch erreichte Gewichtsreduzierung erleichtert das Handling des Stihl Trennschleifers. Die Handhabung wird zusätzlich durch das ergonomische Design und den Rundumgriff optimiert. Der serienmäßige Wasseranschluss mit Berieselungsanlage zum Binden des entstehenden Staubes befindet sich seitlich am Gerät, so dass er beim Arbeiten nicht stört.
