Der speziell für die neue Heckenscherengeneration konstruierte Stihl 2-Mix-Motor vereint niedrige Emissions- und Verbrauchswerte mit geringem Gewicht und ausgezeichneten Beschleunigungswerten. Zudem ist der Motor mit dem bewährten Antivibrationssystem von Stihl ausgestattet und garantiert so ermüdungsarmes und schonendes Arbeiten mit dem Gerät. Das doppelseitige Schneidmesser erlaubt horizontales sowie vertikales Schneiden von Hecken und einen optimalen Schnitt in Ecken, bei einer, durch einseitig geschliffene Schneideesser, konstant hoch bleibenden Schneidleistung.
