Das Radio hat Bluetooth an Bord zum drahtlosen Musikhören von Smartphone oder Tablet. Auch inklusive Akku lässt sich das Baustellenradio, dank zweier Griffe, sehr angenehm und sicher tragen. Dank des robusten und stoßfesten Gehäuses überlebt es auch den einen oder anderen Sturz uneschadet. Durch die schräge Einbaulage ist das Display gut ablesbar und während der Bedienung beleuchtet. Dadurch sind alle Angaben auch bei hellerer Umgebung sehr gut zu erkennen. Das Gerät kann mit allen Metabo Schiebesitz-Akkupacks von 12 bis 18 Volt oder Netzbetrieb betrieben werden. Das Metabo R12-28 hat einen automatischen Sendersuchlauf und ist mit DAB+ sowie Bluetooth zeitgemäß ausgestattet.
