Product Description:

The Metabo KGS 315 Plus chop saw is the perfect solution for demanding users who want maximum cutting performance, flexibility and precision in one tool. With a saw table that can be rotated in both directions and a saw head that can be tilted in both directions, it offers maximum flexibility for complex mitre and angle cuts. The extremely powerful universal motor in combination with the large saw blade ensures impressive cutting performance, even with hard materials. Thanks to variable speed control, the crosscut saw is not only suitable for wood, but also ideal for sawing aluminium profiles and plastics. The integrated pull function allows particularly wide workpieces to be processed effortlessly. The machine is equipped with ergonomic carrying handles and a saw head lock for convenient transport. The optimised chip extraction with a second extraction point directly at the cutting point ensures a clean working environment. The Vario-Constamatic (VC) electronics allow material-specific working with a constant speed under load, while the soft start protects the motor and gearbox. Metabo Quick allows the saw blade to be changed quickly and without tools. Detent points enable quick and precise adjustment of common angles, while high, laterally adjustable stops and a quick-release clamp ensure that the workpiece is held securely in place – both from above and from the front. The integrated, extendable table extensions made of die-cast aluminium increase the support surface and stability for larger workpieces. The depth stop makes it easy to create grooves. All scales and controls are visible from the working position and intuitive to use, which further supports the workflow.
