Applications that were previously reserved for the most powerful corded machines can now be carried out with cordless machines, thanks to the 10.0 Ah battery. The combination of new high-performance cells and totally innovative components in the LiHD battery guarantees ultimate power and maximum running time with minimal temperature generation. What's more, the interaction between technologies perfectly matched to each other, such as intelligent battery management and Permanent Electronic Single Cell Protection (ESCP), ensure a particularly long battery life. The integrated capacity display provides constant control of the battery's charge level. This battery also features optimal protection against dirt on the inside, a comprehensive protective coating for the electronics and an optimal seal in the cover, guaranteeing long storage life and very low self-discharge. Its external rubber coating provides a secure, non-slip grip and also acts as protection against shocks.
The ASC 145 DUO dual quick charger from Metabo is designed specifically for recharging all Li-Ion and LiHD (12V-36V) slide-on batteries with an adequate recharging voltage. It is equipped with Patented "AIR COOLED" charging technology for short charging times thanks to cooling the battery pack during the charging cycle. This quick charger stands out for its exceptionally low absorption power in standby mode. Its intelligent, processor-controlled charging management ensures gradual charging and a maximum number of charging cycles. Moreover, the ASC 145 DUO is 100% compatible with all 18V machines from CAS (Cordless Alliance System) partners: Rothenberger, Edding, Fischer, Mafell, Collomix, Eibenstock, Eisenblättert, Haaga, Starmix, Steine, Rokamat, Birchmeier, etc.
