This 40-volt battery model from Makita sets the standard for the next generation of batteries. The XGT battery series is characterised by increased performance and an even more robust battery design. Makita now presents the battery that replaces mains-powered tools. Its special battery design enables higher discharge currents to be delivered, so that maximum power can be achieved at all times. Digital interaction between the battery, the tool and the charger optimises the performance of the individual components. Operating time can be significantly extended with a single battery charge. These XGT batteries can be used in difficult conditions. Their sophisticated design and internal safety features ensure a long service life and maximum performance: the drop cavity, a dust insulation layer, a water protection layer and a reinforced insertion rail are just a few examples. Makita's 40-volt battery segment creates a new battery ecosystem designed for maximum work. With four green LEDs on the front of the batteries, it is possible to quickly read the battery capacity. The fast charger allows for trouble-free fast charging with its two fans and 310 watts of power consumption. Different sounds can be set as required. A digital coupling between the battery, the device and the charger ensures optimum performance of the individual components. As usual with Makita, the finish is of high quality. With the 40-volt battery segment from Makita, a new battery ecosystem is created, designed for maximum work.
