With the new DC18SF charger, four Makita batteries can be plugged into the charger at the same time. Thanks to intelligent sensors, the charger only charges the batteries when they have reached the correct charging temperature. This significantly extends the service life of the Li-ion batteries. The so-called Multi Charger has two separate pairs of connections, each of which charges two batteries in succession. The inconvenience of reconnecting the batteries after each charging process and the associated loss of time are a thing of the past. Makita makes it possible to charge four batteries in a short time (e.g. 4 BL1860 batteries in 4.4 hours).
