Der Makita DGA 900 ist ein leistungsstarker Akku Winkelschleifer. Der eingebaute bürstenlosen Motor (brushless) ist ausgelegt für mehr Ausdauer und eine längere Lebenszeit - bei einer kompakten Bauweise. Das Gerät ist mit einem 2x 18 V Akkuantrieb umweltfreundlich und kostensparend. Die neue ADT-Technologie reguliert während des Betriebs automatisch die Drehzahl. Somit lässt sich die Leistung je nach Anforderung dynamisch und optimal anpassen. Eine eingebaute LED warnt vor nachlassender Akkuspannung und Überlastung. Zusätzlich hat Makita das Gerät mit der Active Feedback Technology ausgestattet, was den Motor automatisch bei einer Blockade des Werkzeugs stoppt und somit vor groben Schäden schützt. Weitere komfortable Funktionen sind unter anderem die Wiedereinschaltsperre, der Tiefentladeschutz, der elektronische Überlastschutz und der Sanftanlauf. Um weniger Vibrationen auf den Anwender zu übertragen ist der Griff ( links oder rechts einschraubbar ) entkoppelt angebracht.
