Die Bauhöhe von nur 116 mm, der bürstenlose EC-TEC Motor ( Brushless ), die perfekte Gehäusegeometrie mit dem idealen Schwerpunkt lassen sämtliche Arbeiten auf höchsten Komfortniveau zu. Festool ist die Gesundheit der Anwender wichtig, deshalb ist eine automatische Absaugerkennung, eine integrierte Tellerbremse und das einzigartige Vibration Control System verbaut. Das Vibration Control System ermöglicht den Unterschied zwischen Fühlen und Spüren des Schleifers, so wird bei zu hoher Vibration die Laufleistung automatisch abgesenkt und ein perfektes Endergebnis gewährleistet.
