The very small housing diameter ensures comfortable handling, while the special "Jetstream" cooling airflow effectively filters abrasive dust particles from the air, protects the motor and thus increases the service life of the device. The winding armoured with epoxy resin also helps to extend the service life of the motor. Additional safety is provided by the restart protection, which prevents unintentional start-up after a power failure. The self-switching carbon brushes offer a longer motor service life and the optimally positioned spindle lock makes it easier to change discs. The new motor architecture improves efficiency by drawing in cooling air without an additional fan wheel, and the special flange nut ensures easy and safe disc changes.
