The built-in brushless motor is immediately ready for use, operates emission-free, very quietly, is virtually maintenance-free and enables a more compact design. Makita's Xtreme Protection Technology (XPT) provides protection against dust and splash water and enables operation even in autumn weather or in dusty areas. A paddle wheel is integrated into the machine, which shreds the sucked-in leaves and thus significantly reduces the volume and promotes the natural decomposition of the leaves.
