Product Description:
The DHR 281 is a powerful cordless hammer drill from Makita. The hammer drill is powered by two Makita 18 V batteries to fulfil the most demanding tasks. The device has a brushless motor, which has a significant positive effect on the service life and endurance of the device. A slip clutch protects the user if the hammer drill jams while working. Makita has also installed its Xtreme Protect Technology, which guarantees optimum protection against dust and splash water. This makes the drill extremely resistant and durable. The anti-vibration technology ensures a high level of comfort, counteracting signs of fatigue caused by vibrations. The tool also features a powerful LED that provides optimum illumination of the work area and a low battery warning indicator. The tool also comes with a convenient quick-change chuck. The Makita DC 18 RC is a quick battery charger for 7.2 - 18 volt Li-ion batteries from Makita. The charger permanently monitors and controls the voltage and temperature using an integrated microprocessor, which guarantees optimum charging processes and at the same time protects the batteries thanks to optimised cooling air control. The quick charger charges the 18 V battery generation from Makita extremely quickly, resulting in very short charging pauses or a smooth work process as soon as two batteries are available, for example. The Makita BL 1840 B battery with 4 Ah impresses with maximised endurance at the same weight (compared to 3 Ah batteries). An additional advantage is the short charging time of just 36 minutes in the Makita charger. Thanks to low self-discharge and short-circuit, overvoltage and overheating protection, the battery has a maximum service life. The BL 1840 B also has an LED charge level indicator to check the remaining energy in the battery.
